if anyone remebers I bought a 88 mustang 4 banger 5 speed

Well so far I have almost completed the body work on the car, removed some of the unnecessary parts in the interior and the ac system (it did not work)

Mounted the turbo and turbo manifold, still got to get an intercooler and piping, got a larger t/b for and a roller cam to go in the head, along with the internals out of a SVO's engine.

My hopes are to get 300+ wheel power out of the car and do a little road racing

I rode in a friends modified svo and I was amazed how much power it had. It through me back in my seat like a big v8 would. at 3000rpm the turbo would start to whine and the car would start spinning even in third gear.

no problem tim
right now i'm hooking up the oil and water lines for the turbo and making an adapter for the 94-95 5.0 t/b to attach to my 2.3 intake plus porting the 2.3 intake. contrary to popular opinion it is not even close to a direct bolt on or a light modification to make it fit.
I will get some tech photos up on the site

I gave up the idea along time ago of doing a 4 cyc turbo after I compared the price difference of the 4 cyc against a v8. Now I'm currently running a 5.0 ho out of lincoln mark 7. And collecting parts to build a serious 408 street engine.

I could have told you that the SVO parts are very expensive. Sometimes it's ridiculous how hard it is to find parts too :pissed:

by "SVO" do you mean "robbing parts from a thunderchicken with a turbo 2.3?" because thats what i did when i built my 2.3 ranger p/u truck. looooved that truck.....

You can do that to an extent but there are a few SVO specific parts that are ridiculously hard to find new. I don't like to buy scrap yard parts if I can afford it because I only want the job done once.
