OMG LMAO you're getting owned by the same shit I was when I had my car. I replaced the purge valve, purge solenoid and checked all the hoses. And the EGR was working, that damn code was the death of me I swear. It's the damndest thing though, I never got that code unless I reved over 4K RPM though
The P1443 can be caused by a blocked, disconnected or damaged vacuum lines between the purge valve and the intake manifold. It could be a pinched vapor line between the fuel tank and EVAP valve. It could be a bad EVAP valve or a bad PCM.
also,
go out and buy a brand new gas cap for your car.

that code owned me and my car, I had all of that, clear hoses, new gas cap, the sensors and the solenoid. Must have been the PCM I guess lol
