what's up everyone? i'm Brian from Kansas City, my car is a '91 mustang 5.0 LX coupe. It's pretty quick, with all the usual upgrades, plus nitrous. the shortblock is still stock but has just over 70K on the clock. i'm in the process of doing a 408 and converting to carburation. it should be ready june or july. i'm also installing a tubular k-member and a-arms while the motor is out. my goal is to break 10.99 which should be realistic with the bottle. you can check it out on cardomain if you want. i also have an '85 5.0 Capri that is %100 origional with exception too the radio and tires.
this is the link to my Capri
http://members.cardomain.com/caprigirl and my 'stang link is below. please let me know what ya think.

My 408 shortblock is a 1972 351W block, and it will be using a coast high performance street fighter rotating assembley with main girdle. I think i'm going with the John Kaase 2.10/1.60 heads and the Kaase single plane highrise intake. I'm still undecided on my cam choice, currently i'm running an Anderson Ford Motorsport N-41 in the 302. I will probably get some suggestions from the Kaase techs about cam choice. I'm not sure what carb I'll run but it will be a Holley. It may sound old school but that's just how I was raised. "Never run anything but a Holley or a Ford!" I was always told. I'm not sure why, but concidering the source was tuning two of them on a '67 427 I trust him. I've been looking into Kook's headers but for budget sake i'll probably use the Mac longtubes I already have.

That will be a killer setup. What kind of times do you think you will be able to run.

My brother just bought his whole motor from CHP. It is a street fighter pro, with the 4340 forged rods and crank, probe pistons, AFR 205 heads, .595/.605 cam. It is going to Anderson motorsports to get tuned at the end of the month. Thing should be a beast. :woot:

Fuel injected. Trick flow 351 R series intake, 42lb squirters, etc...

My car is injected. Sounds pretty similar to you setup. You should have no problems getting in the 10's N/A.What are you running for a tail gear?My car weighs 3320 with driver, If my car makes 550 @ the crank, I should be able to go 10's around 125mph

my car has 4.10s in it. i wan't to go carb 'cause i don't want to replace my whole injection system. i think i have about $1200 in my injection system and although it ran great it had surging problems at idol, with this radical change i'll have computer problems that i just don't want to deal with, ya know? i ran 11.70s with my current setup on the spray, so i don't see a problem seein' 10s with this new setup, other than drivetrain probs of course.
