Broke the balancer on my driveshaft

I just put my rebuilt trans. in last night and everything was going fine until i started to put the driveshaft back in and ill be damned if the balancer didnt just fall off!!!! I could see what was the problem with it, when i removed it from the driveshaft i seen that the rubber part that attaches to it was deteriorated from time....i really need to get it fixed an ASAP. Do i really need it or can i just not worry bout it right now. Ne 1 have e ideas to rig something up? Lol

^ its not a "beast" yet. But but gimmi a year and ill have my 347...Now thats gonna be a beast!!

as far as i know if you dont have it, if its a balancer, you NEED it. otherwise u'll get a really bad knock, and it will end up throwing off everything else from ur trans. and vibrate right back to ur rear end.

^ yeah i figured that just wanted to have some imput on it....im not gonna risk fuking up my new trans. tho
