I currently have a DiabloSport Predator (well actually for sale on Ebay right now) on my 06 Stage 1 Roush, I am wanting a SCT LiveWire, does anybody have one or know anything good/bad about them. Their website doesn't have a whole lot of info on it right now. Guess what I'm asking is the user adjustability greater than the Predator, and is the 1/4 and 60 sec accurate? Does it use basically same technology as the GTECH or does it just use your weight, hp, and tq to give you a number before you even move? I am going to Bore and Stroke plus put a Kenne Bell on it eventually, will the livewire beable to keep up with the mods, or is there something else out there that is better? I mean I know once I get that far I'm going to have to take it somewhere, but will they beable to tune it through the LiveWire or will it be useless then? Thanks

yes there is somethin better the XCal 2 or the X3. form what i have heard the live wire is nothin but headaches. least thats what my tuner told me. its all those extra features i think. but he said the livewires are junk, and thats why he doesnt even sell them

I asked the same thing recently, and from what the majority is telling me your better off going with the X3. And all you really miss out on would seem to be the display, which isnt anything a couple of gauges wont solve.

Hey, thanks for the info! I spoke with someone from SCT and they told me that the Xcal 3 would be best. Thanks again

Update: I ordered my SCT Xcal 3 today along with a A-pillar triple gauge pod, Autometer "NV" gauges (Fuel Pressure, Oil Pressure, and the new shiftlight/dig. tach), ordered a new set of plugs that are colder than stock, and "wet" nitrous system (100hp) with remote bottle opener. Plan on putting bottle in spare tire area, and raising up the trunk floor 3-4" to hide bottle and running all the lines under to hide everything.

Cool, have fun. That is definetly a load of goodies. You doing all the installs yourself? I should be ordering the JLT CAI and X3 along with magna flow cat backs in another month or so, and I can't wait.

yeah, I plan on doing on the work myself, I used to work on these things at the dealership so I have all the tools anybody can ask for. Shouldn't be too hard to do everything, just want to take my time to make it all look good.
