trying to put the car back together ok i have the #1 at tdc crank sprocket timing marks are at 6 oclock passenger side cam is at 11 oclock drivers is at 1 oclock colored links do line up with the timing marks but the drivers side straight chain guide side has a lil slack . i think i need to take the chains back loose and hold tension and roll cam till timing marks line up if anyone knows i would appreciate the help. the chilton manual is not very descriptive. thanks
Look ya cant just call any one bc the will not help bc they wont want to be responsible for what ever happens. so what you need to do is hit google and go to town it may take an hour or so but in the end you will find out what you need to know. now if that fails do this, i told you know one will help but you could try to call Logan motor sports 16305310897 and I'm not telling you that they will help but they are very racer friendly. so they are your best chance. good luck

you had the cams and crank set up correctly, the chain tensioner gets tighter by oil pressure, but it at the setup you had, then put the crank bolt in the crank and use a ratchet and turn it manually and it will get the correct tension. You can do it, it's easy!
