We are not savages, we're Highly trained and highly effective killing machines that has the sole mission to locate, close with and destroy the enemy through fire and close combat. Well at least us Grunts are!

I want the Marines to be savages, to be highly trained and efficient killing machines, to be able to kill close in or from a distance, or whatever the else it takes to accomplish the mission. Let the civvies handle the niceties, the Marines have a job to do. And about the picture, it looks cool untouched, like it's had a rough history, has a story to tell or something, you know what I mean?

Looks great! If you don't mind the suggestion, try adding a Sepia photo filter to bring out the old-timey aspect of the picture. And bumping up the Contrast and Saturation will really help bring it to life. On the other hand, the softer tones you're going with now are great for enhancing the youthful innocence he portrays.
