This morning going to work the converter blew off the headers for the second time. Im pretty sure its either melted inside or badly clogged. It actually pulled the weld apart there was so much pressure. Tomorrow Im not sure if I should just have it cut off completely since it should be exempt from having one or get a new one. Is it worth buying a new one. The money is no problem but I dont know if its worth the effort
May be your car is running too rich, that's what happened to mine. My cats are basically melted....inside.

It may be. My county has the strictest laws in the state on emissions but I think i can get by without them. The exhaust smelled normal and looked normal when it blew so Im not sure
